Biography
Abdullahi Chowdhury completed his Doctor of Philosophy degree from Federation University Australia in 2020. He completed his Master of Information Technology degree (2006) from Monash University, Australia and his Bachelor of Information Technology degree (2004) from Central Queensland University, Australia.
Currently, he is working as a postdoctoral researcher at The University of Adelaide under the Modelling, Monitoring and Moderating Human-AI Interactions (M3HAI) project, which is a cross-disciplinary (School of Computer Science and School of Psychology) project involving experts in both AI and human decision-making. This project is funded by the Intelligent Decision Superiority Research Network (iDS), initiated by the Defense Science and Technology Group (DSTG).
He has more than ten years of industrial experience in Telstra, the Australian Taxation Office, and the Australia Post. He also worked as a sessional academic at Monash University, RMIT University, and Federation University.
He published his works in eight highly reputed journals, 12 international conferences, and three book chapters. His research interests include cyber security, intelligent transportation systems, data analytics (dealing with imbalanced datasets), Syntactic signal processing, and game theoretic approaches.
